Children are the future of Canadian literature and art and we want to do our part in encouraging them to pursue their love of creativity. We want our first children's essay contest to be a positive way for kids to stretch their creative muscles and we want to be able to celebrate these young creatives by producing a special publication to showcase the exceptional work, as well as offer cash prizes for the winners in each age category. We are charging a small submission fee for each entry, the proceeds of which will go into a prize pool to be split between the winners — but we would be thrilled if you wanted to contribute to this pot!
Our minimum goal is to provide each winner with a cash prize of $25. This means we need to collect at least $100 between submissions and donations and we believe we can blow that out of the water! Will you help?
Donors will be listed as contest sponsors in the special children's publication that will come out in the fall of 2020.
